Join us as we celebrate the volunteer attorneys who help Legal Services of North Florida provide free legal assistance to more than 7,500 people each year. For this year’s Pro Bono Celebration, we will be highlighting, recognizing and celebrating legal professionals in Northwest Florida. The 2026 Pro Bono Celebration recognizes the impact that pro bono attorneys have on our communities.
Troy Rafferty
Rafferty Domnick Cunningham & Yaffa
Troy Rafferty is a shareholder at Rafferty Domnick Cunningham & Yaffa and a nationally recognized trial lawyer with 32 years of experience advocating for individuals and families. Throughout his career, he has helped lead some of the nation’s most significant mass tort litigation, securing landmark verdicts and settlements while remaining deeply committed to civil justice. Behind Troy’s career are billions of dollars in verdicts and settlements but more importantly, thousands of individuals and families who had someone willing to fight for them. Troy’s commitment is exemplified by his years of pro bono advocacy for survivors of abuse at the Dozier School for Boys and Okeechobee School for Boys, helping lead the effort that ultimately resulted in a $20 million appropriation for survivors.
Troy’s commitment to Pensacola is equally important to his legacy. His investment in the Rafferty Center, a 3M dollar sports complex, will be the home to the SYSA tigers. A youth organization who serves over 1300 inner city kids a year through their mission the bible, the book, the ball and the balance. The success of the building reflects his belief that young people deserve places where they can learn, play, grow, and see possibilities for their future. Whether he is supporting local youth, spending time at the Rafferty Center, or advocating on behalf of families and individuals, Troy believes success comes with a responsibility to give back. His philosophy is simple: lead with heart and use your opportunities to make a difference for others.
